Teriyaki Grilled Tuna Steak Recipe

Try this Tuna Steak Recipe...hmmmm delicious

Tuna Steak Recipe Ingredients:
  • 6 4oz Tuna Steaks
  • 1 Cup Green Onions, thinly sliced
  • 1 Tbsp Sesame Oil
  • 1/4 Tsp Red Pepper, ground
  • 1/2 Cup Plum Ginger Teriyaki Sauce
Tuna Steak Recipe Instructions

Place tuna steaks in a shallow fish dish. Combine green onion, Plum Ginger Teriyaki Sauce, sesame oil and red pepper in a small bowl, stirring well. Reserve 1/4 of the mixture. Pour the remaining mixture over the tuna steaks. Refrigerate, covered, for 2 hours or longer as desired.

Spray the grill rack with nonstick cooking spary. Grill fish over medium coals for 4 minutes on each side, basting frequently with the reserved mixture.

Seared Tuna Steak with Daikon Dressing

Tuna Steak Recipe Ingredients
  • 4 tuna steaks, each weighing about 4 ounces and cut 1 1/4-inches thick
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • handful of arugula leaves
  • 8 chives, finely chopped
for the marinade
  • 1/3 cup soy sauce
  • 3 tablespoons sake
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
for the daikon dressing
  • 1/4 cup grated daikon (Japanese white radish)
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 4 teaspoons lemon juice
Tuna Steak Recipe Instructions
In a large bowl, mix all of the ingredients together for the marinade. Add the tuna steaks and let sit for at least thirty minutes. Turn tuna steaks once or twice.

While the tuna steak is marinating, mix all of the ingredients together for the daikon dressing in a small bowl.

Remove the tuna steak from the marinade the pat dry with paper towels. Brush one side of the tuna with half of the oil.

Heat a griddle pan or heavy skillet over medium-high heat. Make sure pan gets very hot before adding the tuna steak. Cook tuna steak for two minutes and brush the raw side of the tuna steak with the other half of the oil while cooking. After two minutes turn over and cook for another two minutes. (Tuna will be rare. If you like it more well done you can cook the second side up to five minutes.)

Transfer tuna steaks to a cutting board and slice. Arrange slices on serving plates. Spoon dressing over tuna slices and top of a few arugula leaves. Garnish with chopped chives.

Tuna Steak Recipe Ingredients :
(about 8 oz.) and mix up the following marinade:
  • 1/4 c. soy sauce
  • 3 T. white wine
  • 3 T. honey
  • 1 T. fresh grated ginger
Tuna Steak Recipe Instructions
Stir the marinade together and reserve about 3 T. of it to use as a dipping sauce. Place the tuna steak in a ziplock back and pour the remaining marinade it. Allow to marinate in the fridge for 1 hour, turning once.

Heat up the Grill.
Remove the tuna steak from the marinade and pat it dry.
Grill for two minutes, turning once to get the grill marks.
You should have a good sear on the outside, and it will be rare and pink on the inside.
Serve with a small ramekin of the reserved marinade along the side for dipping.

Tuna Steak Recipe Ingredients:
  • 2 boneless tuna steaks (1/4 lb. each)
  • 1 tbsp. each: reduced-sodium soy sauce, rice vinegar
  • 1/8 tsp. ground ginger
  • 1 tbsp. whipped butter, softened and divided
  • 1/2 tsp. powdered mustard
Tuna Steak Recipe Instructions:

In a container (not aluminum) that is large enough to hold tuna in a single layer, arrange tuna. Combine soy sauce, vinegar and ginger; pour over tuna. Let stand 5 minutes; turn tuna over and let stand 5 minutes longer.

In a cup or small bowl, combine 2 teaspoons butter and the mustard; mix until combined. Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.

Melt the remaining teaspoon of butter and brush on the tuna steaks. Place on a heated grill for about 2 minutes; turn tuna over and drizzle with any remaining marinade. Cook 2 minutes longer.

Serve steaks topped with the butter/mustard mixture. This is a great way to use Market Day tuna steaks! Makes 2 servings.The tuna steak recipes is ready to serve...great taste ! Enjoy the party !

Try this toasted Pine Nuts tuna steak recipe....a nice one ! Great taste !
  • 2 x 100g Tuna Steaks
  • 1/2 tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon Sea Salt
  • 1 teaspoons Cracked Mixed Pepper
  • 2 small Shallots finely diced
  • 100g Crème Fraiche
  • 200ml Fish/Vegetable Stock
  • 1 Lemon
  • 1 teaspoon Chopped Chives
  • 1/2 teaspoon Brandy
  • 1 tablespoon of Toasted Pine Nuts
  • 1 tablespoon of butter
Tuna Steak Flambe au Poivre with Toasted Pine Nuts
Brush the tuna steaks with olive oil, mix salt and pepper together and sprinkle over to coat them.

Preheat a frying pan. Put a little olive oil into a pan, then turn the heat down, add the tuna steak and sear for about 1 minute per side (this will be cooked rare), add the brandy to flambé carefully. Remove tuna steaks from the pan and keep warm. Add butter to the pan and sweat shallots, add stock and reduce by half, add the crème fraiche and boil for 2 minutes, add a little salt, lemon juice, toasted pine nuts and chopped chives.
The tuna steak recipe is ready to serve with buttered steamed sugar snaps, fine beans and asparagus tips...hmm...great taste ! Enjoy it !

  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 4 teaspoons Old Bay Seasoning
  • 2 limes, juiced
  • 2 teaspoons McCormick. Cilantro Leaves
  • 1 pound tuna steaks

Combine first 4 ingredients in a shallow dish; add TUNA steak fish. Turn to coat. Marinate 20 minutes, turning occasionally.

Grill or broil 8-10 minutes per inch of thickness or until tuna steak flakes easily with a fork. Baste with marinade halfway through cooking. Discard leftover marinade. The tuna steak recipe is ready to serve..enjoy the tuna steak !!

Sashimi grade Tuna Steak



One of my favorite's Tuna steak recipe ...
  • 4 yellow fin tuna steaks, 1-inch thick
  • Sesame oil
  • 1 rounded tsp. cornstarch
  • 1/3 c. rice vinegar
  • 1/3 c. mirin
  • 1/3 c. soy sauce
  • 1 lb. spinach leaves, rinsed, stemmed and dried
  • 1 (6 oz.) box Saffron Rice, cooked per box directions
  • 3 tbsp. minced crystallized ginger

Start coals, start rice. Make sauce: dissolve cornstarch in vinegar. Combine with mirin and soy sauce and simmer until mixture is a clear dark brown and thickened. Remove from heat but keep warm. Stem spinach leaves for 2 minutes.

Grill fish rubbed with sesame oil over hot coals 5-7 minutes per side

Assemble: Arrange a bed of spinach on each plate, place a tuna steak on top of spinach. Spoon a ring of yellow rice around plate. Spoon sauce over tuna and sprinkle with crystallized minced ginger.
